The outrigger "posts" are added to the awning system, expanding the usability and functionality of the product in inclement weather. The posts provide your awning with increased stability needed during inclement weather and still offer the convenient, attractive features of a retractable awning.

If installed at a proper pitch, the awning will withstand a moderate rainfall.
